What can I do with Logdon?

Logdon is a service that enables you to store your Mastodon toots like a blog-style diary. You can save the toots you posted to Mastodon, and you can browse or search the toots saved in Logdon. After user registration, your daily Mastodon's toots is automatically saved in Logdon.

What is a Mastodon instance?

A server on which Mastodon is installed is called "Mastodon instance". For example, there are mastodon instances such as mastodon.socialmastodon.cloud.

What is OAuth authorization?

For user registration and login, Logdon uses OAuth authorization on your Mastodon instance. "OAuth authorization" is a technical standard on the web for users to authorize some functions among different services without giving out personal information such as their IDs and passwords.

Logdon requires only "Read" authorization to read toots and account information from user's Mastodon instance. It does not include authorization of "Write" or "Follow".

How can I stop saving toots to Logdon?

Toot saving will be stopped by deleting [Logdon] from [Preferences] - [Authorized apps] on your Mastodon instance.

How can I resume saving toots to Logdon?

Please log out from Logdon and log in to Logdon again. By performing OAuth authorization on your Mastodon instance again, toot saving to Logdon is restarted. Toot saving is resumed from the latest 40 toots.

How can I delete my particular toot from Logdon?

If you want to delete your particular toot from Logdon, please log in to Logdon, then select the toot and click the [Delete] link. Once you delete a toot, you can not resave it. Note that the toot is not deleted from your Mastodon instance. (* Now, this function to delete your particular toot is unavailable because of some bug. Please wait until fixing it.)

How can I delete all my toots from Logdon?

If you want to delete all your toots from Logdon, please delete your Logdon account. Note that the toots are not deleted from your Mastodon instance.

How can I delete my Logdon account?

To delete your Logdon account, please log in to Logdon and then click the [Delete Account] button on the account settings page. Note that if you delete your Logdon account, all the toots saved in Logdon will also be deleted.
